This week’s M&P theme was contré jour, which in french means against the sun.
I had a lot of hopes for this assignment but I couldn’t seem to find the right moment. My last hope resided at the Weston Red Barn Farm. A fellow photographer Andrew Mather had suggested that I go there and take some images. His dad happens to be a manager of the farm, and with some connections was able to allow us to stay past the regular hours to get some good sunlight to work with. There were TONS of pumpkins and some cute animals including cows, sheep, goats, chickens, and mini ponies. Unfortunately we got there a little early and the light wasn’t really that good until we were about to leave. (Holly and I brought our men along for moral support and they were getting a little too antsy to go home–no longer wanting to assist and be our equipment mules) Anyways…here are a few images from the shoot. Starting with my final contré jour image.
