Last Sunday I purchased a cookbook all about cupcakes and found a recipe that I HAD to try. The recipe was for chocolate high tops. These are chocolate cupcakes with a homemade marshmallow frosting which you pipette 2 inches high onto the cake, then proceed to dip it into chocolate for a nice thick chocolate shell. 🙂 Now I have a sweet tooth big enough for probably 5 people, but these cupcakes are so rich that I could only eat half of one. (I will type up the recipe and add it to this post later so keep an eye out if you decide you want to give them a try)
As many images created in food photography utilize a tilt shift lens I decided to keep practicing with this lens. It isn’t always easy and it takes a while to get the hang of using the lens, since it is entirely manually operated. Here are my favorite images.
These are the cupcakes before the chocolate layer was added! YUM!!!
Here they are after the chocolate layer had settled and cooled.
YUM!
