Today we worked on analyzing shutter speed and aperture in conjunction with ambient lighting and flash power. It was a lot of thinking and constantly adjusting–which can be frustrating but it is very important to learn. If you don’t know what to do with light, you don’t know what to do with cameras. We worked with soft boxes, grid spots, and various techniques that would give interesting looks. Keep a look out as this posting is only of images we took in class. There is an assignment due where we are to practice these techniques outside of class. Hopefully then you guys will see some new models–not that Holly and Anneka aren’t B-E-A-utiful to look at!
