I went out this past Wednesday with UCM’s Photo Society to photograph star trails. One student happened to have a massive amount of land which we wandered around looking for a good spot to set up and shoot. I have never photographed star trails before so this was a first for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was very peaceful. I can’t wait until it warms up a bit so I can go out and explore more. Most of these images are about a 20 minute exposure or so. I tried making a 45 minute exposure but my shutter release stopped after 20 min. I am curious if my camera will only go that far with the remote cable release…looks like I have some manual reading to do.
Anyways…it was a fun time…even though it was a bit cold. Enjoy the images.
