Last Tuesday in my Editorial class we learned briefly how to use Alien Bee lighting equipment. I’ve never worked with Alien Bees before so it was a very new experience for me. Our first location was one of the theaters on campus, but after just a few shots a local news crew came in to do an interview so we had to change locations. We moved outside the theater and chose to shoot against the UCM emblem. Here are a few of my shots that I thought demonstrated different use of the lights and fun poses.
