Made myself a website!!

I am toying around with making a portfolio website and I came across www.wix.com it is an awesome free flash website builder that is relatively user friendly. Granted this is just a first time try for me..but I thought the results were pretty neat. The only problem I came across was not being able to put up some of the photos I wanted because I couldn’t size them right. Also, the website seems to be a bit jerky in loading…I don’t know if it is just my computer, but let me know if you guys have any issues with loading or lag time.  Anyways….i designed it with my new logo in mind. hope you guys like it!!

CHAR this website is AMAZING… there’s a free flash website builder?!?! damn! i use $1000+ software at my internship and our websites don’t look half as professional as that!

there was a little graininess as the photos loaded, but that could just be this computer. that’s awesome though char, keep up the good work:)

paraphernalia and versatile are spelled wrong on the “about” page though. I’M SUCH A HORRIBLE PERSON I’M SORRY!! i just had to say.

I love it, Charlene! It’s beautiful! My only critique is the slideshow on the homepage is a little fast. It looks great! 🙂

    Very nice, Char!

I paid for a wix site for a year and hoped they would add more features for photographers. I love their format, customizing and all, but they don’t have a solution for photographers, other than posting a portfolio. I recently moved to zenfolio.com so I could use online proofing and ordering. Not as cute and no flash, but cheaper than a flash site with proofing, ordering, and etc.
