When my mother in law was visiting earlier this week we went to Cockrell Mercantile Company–a cute home and kitchen supply store just outside of Lone Jack, Missouri. We were in their baking cottage and I noticed that they had these adorable little cupcake pedestals and a set of silicon molds shaped like tea cups with matching saucers!! Needless to say we both bought some so I could use them in my food photography. When we got back home we made pineapple upside down cup cakes from a delicious recipe out of “The Cake Doctor” which were absolutely delicious! There are NONE left! I can’t wait to use some flash equipment, but after we baked them I decided to just use some natural window light for a soft look. Here is a quick sample!!
