Hey all. I have been conflicted for a while now on whether or not I want to change my blog and photography business name from Hullcha Photography to Gnome Photo. Why this sudden change you ask? Well, to be honest I am not confident in the ability for “Hullcha Photography” to stand out. I came up with this name because Hull is my maiden name and cha is the beginning of my first name. I wanted to honor my maiden name by using it in my business. However, people often mispronounce it and I have a hard time coming up with a unique logo or front design.
So if not Hullcha…why Gnome Photo? Well, most people who know me are well aware of my semi-unhealthy obsession with gnomes. I thought that I could take that love and intertwine it with what i love even more, photography. Not only would it still be unique and quirky enough for people to remember (and pronounce) but I have been working on a logo which I am pretty satisfied with.
I just can’t decide if it is worth the trouble…or if everybody thinks I’m better where I am and have been at. I’ll post an example of my new logo idea…and perhaps you all can mull it over and give me some feedback! Thanks!!!!
